Information for Publishers

To all Publishers planning to exhibit at THE CONFERENCE OF THE AMERICAN LITERATURE ASSOCIATION 

May 23-25, 2024

Thank you for contributing to the success of the American Literature Association. We look forward to a live and lively conference including a live book exhibit. 

Book Exhibits Schedule          

(Set Up available on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 8pm until 10 pm or Thursday morning from 8 am until 10:30 in Salon 3 of Palmer House Hilton)

Book Exhibit Room open.

Thursday, May 23, 2024:       10:30 AM until 5:00 PM

 Friday, May 24, 2024:            9:00 AM until 5:00 PM        

 Saturday, May 25, 2024:       9:00 AM until 2 PM

Conference and Exhibit Fees:  Because the ALA values the work performed by academic presses and recognizes the reality of this economy, we do not currently charge an exhibit fee.  We ask all publisher’s representatives to register for the conference at the faculty rate. You can register for the conference, make hotel reservations, and view the current program by going to: ALA Annual Conference – The American Literature Association

Our Federal Tax ID Number is:   95 4044252.  We are also again providing an opportunity to advertise in our program.

Advertising in Program:  The 2024 conference program will include advertising from publishers for a rate of $250 per page (8 ½ x 11 inches) for black and white camera-ready copy. Your PDFs should be emailed to Alfred Bendixen(ab23@princeton.edu) by April 30.

Please note that the books should not arrive more than 5 days before the conference begins.

Note:  The Palmer House Hilton uses its on-site UPS store to handle book deliveries and will charge a book handling fee based on weight.  You can email them at store5905@theupsstore.com or phone them at 312-917-1705 to make arrangements and discuss payment.
